Flexible ducts are used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) to deliver and remove air. The needed airflows include, for examlpe, supply air, return air, and exhaust air. Flexible ducts commonly also deliver ventilation air as part of the supply air. HVAC systems Non-insulated flexible duct is made of high quality aluminum. Insulated Flexible Duct is a range of fully flexible thermally insulated ducting, which has been specially designed for the HVAC market. Its range has been developed to minimise the heat gain or loss resulting from the temperature difference between the air flowing in a duct and the surrounding air. The vapour barrier prevents condensation forming on the outside of ducts carrying air at lower temperatures than the surrounding air.
